Our beginner program, Gracie Combatives, teaches the 36 core techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in a fun and safe environment without competitive sparring. Our students rave about the program, with one saying it's one of the best they've ever been a part of.

It was absolutely amazing, the physical concentration into the hand and hand practice was the BEST!!! we absolutely loved the coach and had the best time. "I’ve been doing Martial Arts for over 40 years and hold high rank in 2 systems but, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is by far one of the best systems. Sensei Alex is extremely knowledgeable in what he does and teaches. He breaks the techniques down with precision and very helpful when it comes to understanding how to apply each and every move. "I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. I’m not athletic and I’m overweight. I have no real martial arts experience to speak of other than some time I spent in Karate as a kid about 20 years ago. As such, I was terrified to try Jiu Jitsu and really didn’t know what to expect. Even so, I’m only one week in and I can honestly say that attending classes here is one of my favorite things I have ever done and is definitely already proving to be a rewarding experience. So much so that I went ahead and paid for the whole year in advance (they offer month to month options too) before my trial period was even over. Alex is a great instructor. He really knows his stuff, is an excellent teacher, and makes you feel right at home as soon as you show up. He and everyone I’ve met so far are also very friendly, helpful to new beginners like myself, and I haven’t felt the slightest bit of judgement or shame over my current physical shape from anyone here. If you’re interested in learning Jiu Jitsu but are afraid of what to expect, I can assure you that you’ll feel comfortable here."
