"Oh my God probably the worst Dollar General I ever been to the customer service was horrible one cashier on. I’m surprised they’re still in business because she had a line all the way to the frozen food area and you had another guy sitting on his phone talking about he was on break."
"Everytime I go in here employees are constantly outside smoking and I have waited 10 minutes on someone to come to the register.... I couldn't use self check out because I had to buy my dad a pack of cigarettes. If you want to be lazy and get paid, look no further. Apply at any Dollar General. Employees are to stupid to see self check out is putting people out of work. But they are stupid and can't see that and rather sit outside and play and get paid for it. I refuse to give any DOLLAR GENERAL anymore of my money. I'll drive somewhere else."
"I feel Dollar General could be a great place to shop. Convenient, low prices, variety. However, it doesn't seem they have store standards and constantly. Undermanned and understocked is an understatement. One of their newest store opened close to my house. Shelves are a disaster, stock gondolas block the isles, ALWAYS. They only take cash at the maned check out. And the cashier's are usually difficult to locate (seldom near the store front). I believe all the stores have serious issues from the top down. SOP, supervision and support would probably make these stores great. As of now I feel they are complacent and mediocre on their best day. Not a pleasant experience, I've had to leave without checking out because I couldn't locate the cashier."
"Love dollar general, generally! But this location is the exception! It’s a mess....I’d be ashamed to be the manager/owner! More products on carts sitting all up and down the isles than on the shelf. It’s a total SS! Employees walking around on their phones instead of putting the stock away. This is more like a warehouse, where you just go in and hunt till you find what you need. More than likely it’s on a cart with wheels and you’ll need to rip open the plastic...but it just may be the dog food you need! Might be a fire hazard but hey I saved a trip to WaLmArT!!! Unbelievable!!!!"
