"My friend and I checked in and walked to our room. When we opened the door to our room it smelt like a bonfire in the “non smoking” room. It was disgusting!!! I sat my stuff down to try and turn the air on to get some air flow cause I don’t usually like to complain at hotels. As I sat my bags down, a cockroach came running across the night stand. So we immediately went downstairs and complained. They gave us a different room and this room was just as disgusting, smelt like mold, and mildew and the sheets were damp. They offered to give us a third room but by then we were disgusted and wanted to leave. This place needs to clean up for sure."
"Traveled with my family. The room was nice and spacious and very well kept. After driving for 9 hours. The service was beyond 5 stars. The front desk clerk was very welcoming. The location was perfect right off the expressway. The included breakfast was very good. If ever back in macon will definitely stay there again."
"When you stay in a hotel, you expect it to be clean. My daughter and I returned home with nasty welps which according to our doctor were bed bug bites. I was highly disappointed. We contacted Choice Hotels because we did not want other guests to experience the same. We were promised that the situation would be checked into and followed up with us, but noone ever called. We tried to handle things by contacting Choice Hotels, but in reality we probably should have called the health department instead. It's very disappointing. Customers should mean more to Choice Hotels. We have never experienced any issues until our stay here. Now, We will think twice about where we stay. Honestly, we were traumatized and grossed out by this experience."
"Excellent customer across the board. Would like to personally commend Rakija who is staffed for the complimentary breakfast. Coffee outside of breakfast was always lukewarm. Room had mold on the ceiling. Night was extremely dirty. It was quite nasty in the area that housed the refrigerator."
"My kids and I checked in due to an issue with our home . Nicole took VERY good care of us and really made my day better! She has such a warm spirit and really sets the vibe for the hotel. Rooms were nice and service was excellent! Thank you Nicole for your great southern hospitality!!"
