"We stayed at Hampton Inn on Broadway in Columbus Ga. My niece left her apple watch and I left a pair of earrings. We didn't even know we had left these items behind. We got a call when we were about an hour from hotel that they had found these items. They put them in safe for us. We went back by 1 wk later and picked up. I really really appreciate the honesty. The housekeepers could have kept these. Very thankful to them for being so honest. If I ever travel in this area and need to stay I will definitely stay here again. All of the staff were friendly!! ❤️"
"I unexpectedly had to travel across country alone with my dog and set up 4 stays at Hampton Inns in different cities because I know that the they are dog friendly, super clean and the experience is always consistent and pleasant. This one in downtown Columbus is one of my favorites. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast is a great perk, and parking is in a deck just for hotel patrons. It’s a nice area to walk for coffee, restaurants or one block to the river. I felt very safe being alone too. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I’m back."
"Hampton Inn Columbus Downtown is a pretty new hotel in Columbus, GA. The hotel is in a great area walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and all the fun parts of Columbus. The rooms were very clean and I had no issue with service -- the staff was great! I would stay here again next time I'm in town. The bed mattress and pillows were tough. I usually sleep on a soft mattress and this one was tough for me. The pillows had the opposite problem -- they were all too soft for me. I had to use multiple and still couldn't get comfortable. Really enjoyed the morning breakfast and coffee. They had (and kept up with) a nice spread every morning. Lots of good equipment in the hotel gym, although it was kind of small and felt a little packed in. Having said that, I was usually the only person (or second person) in there at 6AM. Overall, a good stay and a nice hotel. I would stay here again."
