"This store was great, but think twice before ordering items from Kirklands online We ordered the Sonoma Two-Tier Console Table on 10/5 When this was delivered via FedEx, the box appeared as if it had been through a war, battered & beaten. Upon opening the box, one of the metal legs was slightly bent & one of the steel X supports was missing from the box completely. Called customer support, I wanted them to just ship me replacement parts so I could complete the piece. I was informed that they could not do replacement parts for this piece and was advised to return it to my local store & get a refund. This is what we did. Reordered the same piece again a few days later. Unbelievably, again, when delivered via FedEx, this box was in even worse shape than the first one, battered & beaten & opened. Removed the pieces from the box and the bottom wooden base was so damaged it is not usable. Brought the 2nd order back to the store today & was refunded again. In all likelihood, these items are leaving the warehouse in this sorry shape. I do not believe that FedEx damaged this item in transit twice in a row, not at all likely. My guess is that this item is close to being discontinued and there are very few left in the warehouses, maybe that have been there quite a while and Kirklands is shipping them out, knowing many of them will be damaged, missing pieces, etc. This is shameful corporate behavior. Many similar stories in the comments on your site for this item, so it appears this has been going on for awhile. My ask at the store was that the item be ordered for a third time, delivered to the store & I should not have to pay for the item. I think that this is more than fair for my time that has been wasted in assembly, calls to customer service, returning this to the store on two separate occasions. The store said they could not do this. Two emails to Kirklands customer support email, just generic responses and no mention of what I asked for, or apology for my time that has been wasted."
