"Food is usually great !! But on new years eve I feel I was racially refused service. I walked in and it was 7:50pm. There was a black gentleman ordering and paying for his food. The black girl behind the counter said they were closing at 8 since it was new years eve and he was the last customer. I said ok , happy new year and walked out to my truck . Called my wife while in the parking lot to decide on something else. I looked back at the door and I noticed a black man walked in who had just pulled into the parking lot. Yes , she took his order and I watched him pay. I thought maybe it was door dash or something. Then thought, why would he have paid ? Yes I am white . So it has to be racially driven. I don't want to believe that but there's no other answer to it that i can think of !!!! I'll probably still eat here because I realize it's not the owners fault. It's just the racist driven world we live in ."

"Ordered here(first time)got the Bbq Feast! The service was good, food is good but the price and portions NO! I paid $75 including the tip and had to stop elsewhere for extra food! Two large sides? Food came in to-go boxes, the side of fries that was supposed to be large didn’t even fill up to-go box portion and the okra was in a dang small bowl! What’s large about this??? Also ordered a large peach cobbler smh the website said a “tray” man this also came in a quart size bowl/cup! I’m beyond irritated to say the least due to the amount of money I’ve spent to still have to go elsewhere for more food! First impressions are everything and after this I doubt I’ll be back!"

"This review comes after my last visit. However it’s been building up for the past several experiences I’ve had. I have been charged significantly different each visit for the same meal. Major red flag. I’ve also continuously received reheated food….. not an ounce of care. My final straw was not the terrible immature customer service….but the ONION RINGS! The picture I attached is AFTER sending back the first order. They were stuck together as one burnt inedible ring. I’m convinced this second order is pretty much the same one except they managed to pull-up a few pieces apart. Following this as I’m eating I can hear the staff in the kitchen complain “I’m not really a cook, you get what you get.” I’ve restrained from writing a review for the last several visits (like I stated) but tonight was absolutely ludicrous. Obviously won’t be returning."

"Very disappointed today! Got the tenders lunch special for $7.99 and it only came with 2 tenders! Then they charged 0.40 each for the tenders to have sauce on them. And then sweet potatoe fries were an extra $1.00 charge. I would not have expected this of Shane's rib shack!"

"First off I’m very disappointed to come back home to the area Shane’s was built. You’d think that McDonough would take pride in the brand but the food was horrible at this location. I’ve had other locations and they were way better. The pulled pork was very dry as of it’s been sitting in the oven all damn day and my bread wasn’t even toasted on my damn sandwich. Fries weren’t cooked all the way and the tinders were so damn small. This was not a great food experience for the price you pay at this place. What a joke! I remember when Shane’s use to cater to our high school football team for breakfast before game day. Like it is gone down hill fast. Which it shouldn’t have, at all. Good luck to this location. The young ladies up front were very nice but they need better cooks handling the food. WOW!"
