PÜR Zen Mimosa Wine Bar

"Although our server was kind and outgoing, we did have a few issues. First, the food was not warm enough. They did handle that situation and brought out new plates with hot food. The oxtails and mashed potatoes were really good and flavorful! Secondly, the brussel sprouts were incredibly large and looked unreal. The mimosas tasted like pure juice, and we had to ask for more bubbly. I appreciate that they granted our request. The number 1 issue was being told that they did not print out receipts. How does a restaurant not print out a receipt? We felt like gratuity was already added, but we couldn’t see the entire tab. I gave an additional 20% and should have had the option to have a receipt emailed, printed, or even sent to my phone. My friends and I decided that we will not return to this restaurant due to the sketchy situation of not being offered a receipt."

"Thoroughly enjoyed this wine bar! I frequent this area often but never knew it was here! Tried several of the ”small plates” and ALL of them were delicious, especially the oxtails and grits! Our bartender Jewel (make sure you ask for her) took GREAT care of us and the DJ kept it live! Will definitely be back soon so I can enjoy hookah on the patio before it gets too cold!"

"Pür Zen was refreshing! The atmosphere was nice, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The establishment isn't huge, but it's a good cute size. I visited on a Friday around 7 pm and 30 minutes to 1 hour later a DJ showed up and jammed out for the evening. The food was absolutely SUPERB with the exception of the garlic spinach (presentation and texture was nice, it just tasted bland). I forgot the name of the wine our waitress, TY, recommended, but it was perfect! I'm a sweet wine kind of girl. She recommended a sweet wine that came in white and red, and the white was my favorite of the two. The hookah flavors the waitress picked out was perfect. The evening was refreshing as we sat outside and ate, and everything exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning!"

"This was my first time dining here. I loved the customer service, ambiance, and overall vibe of this restaurant. Our server Jamaal was so cool and laidback!! You would have thought he was a third party by the way he kept interacting with us. Lol. He was definitely a breath of fresh air. He showed us great customer service! My friend had the oxtails and grits, which was good, and I chose the waffle breakfast because you can have breakfast anytime of day! Everything was excellent from the food down to the hookah. I will be a returning guest in the near future!"
