"I am plant based but every now and then I will take a break and have a meat dish on Saturday so I was in the area and saw this place and it was extremely busy so I said to myself "they must have good food" so I will give it a try. I ordered the fish and chicken strips meal and I was not impressed. The portions were large but everything tasted the same, the fish tasted like the chicken" which tasted like the potatoes.. Then it had a strange dusting of some type of mysterious white powder on top of all the food. Usually fried fish and chicken is seasoned with black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and maybe a little paprika. This food just tasted like corn meal and salt. Salt was everywhere which to me, made the food inedible. The fries were dusted with a coating or light batter on the outside which I hate! I ate a piece of the fish and a half of the chicken strip and tossed the rest in the garbage. However, I must say I enjoyed the can of Diet Coke the most, it was excellent! After this meal I will forget about eating meat for the next couple of months."

"My first time here at the McDonough location…I was greeted with a warm welcome from the lady behind the register…she was mad cool and helped me with the menu…I ordered the wings & fish plate with hush puppies….it was definitely delicious an I can tell the food was made to order…I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu….i also love the fishing poles an old license plates…."
"Immediately addicted. So I went two days back to back. Great prices and comes with a lot of food. Lemonades are sooo good. Glad I don't live by one or I'd have a problem. Nice service and clean too."
"I went to JJs fish and chicken and the 1st visit wasn't a pleasant one the whiting fish dinner wasn't good. The next day l took the food l couldn't eat back spoke with the manager and she asked me to try another meal on her with fish and chicken wings l did it was much better prepared hot and fresh and charged nothing. So l showed both meals and appreciated the services. I had the wings with talipia/ fish fries meal .. l have had better from most JJs especially customer service. That was not good at all on either visit. Smile ladies and show your customers you're glad they are coming to dine with the establishment."
