Hilton Garden Inn Columbus

"Overall great hotel. The location was beautiful with the little lake out back and not directly in town. Felt safe and comfortable during all hours of the day. Latrice the bartender/server was amazing. Poured perfect drinks and was a blast to visit with made us feel welcomed. Food was good. Front desk lady (can't remember her name sorry)very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and housekeeping helpful. My only complaints were 1. Pool needed a good cleaning(lots of dirt/debris on the bottom) and pool room smelled very musty. My kids still enjoyed it non the less. 2. Bathroom in our room needed updates. No working fan. Horrible water pressure and bad lighting."

"Beautiful location, updated property and a walk-in shower. Guest services needs some attention. Front Desk was robotic; a call for room supplies was met with "just come to the front desk". Restaurant was just barely that, server was the highlight with pleasant attitude. Menu was light on items and door to kitchen was so loud on open/close was disturbing in dining room. Simple fixes could improve this property greatly. An air of indifference. The highlight was the best shower in seven recent Hilton stays. The rest needs work."

"Great location, awesome staff, ate dinner there twice, both nights of my stay. First night I ate out on the patio with the view of the lake which was very pleasant. Food is good enough to eat there at the hotel and not have to find a restaurant and wait on a table. The food was delicious and the wait staff at the restaurant inside the hotel was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. The hotel is incredibly clean. I enjoyed the workout center. However the pool is nice but it is ice cold and could only dip my feet and legs in. I could tell whether used to be hot tub I was disappointed it was not there. I could imagine it was hard to upkeep. If the pool was heated it would have been a better experience to have a relaxing dip in the pool. They do have a nice place outside to Lounge in the Sun. It was very convenient and helpful to have a microwave refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. The bathroom is a tad dark, but it was nice and big and clean. The shower was a little tricky you have to really pull hard to get it to come on full force."

"It was okay. It wasn't the Hilton experience I'm used to. When we checked in, the Front Desk person, I'm pretty sure her name was Amy, was rude and had an attitude. The room was nice and spacious, and the bed, ahhhh the bed was perfect!!!!!!!!! But, the bathroom needs to be updated, and the curtains were too light/thin. Normally the curtains are darker/thicker, to block out the sunshine, it did not and it instantly woke me up. When I see continental breakfast, I think of free, so I guess that's my fault for just assuming it's free, but it's not, the continental breakfast IS NOT FREE!!!! But, there is a nice lake on the side of the hotel for some scenery. The ducks were great and very vocal."

"I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, during my stay my room was NEVER cleaned. Trash never changed and I had to walk to get extra towels. This is unacceptable. Upon arrival I was NOT treated like a valued "Diamond" member. The check in staff was rude!. I will never stay at this location ever again. My room had ants and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned. When I complained they told me they were sold out. The bar never had a variety of chasers or liquors and the kitchen waitress was rude.. Horrible establishment. The fact that my room was NEVER cleaned but their room prices NEVER went down for my nights stay is unreal. I would recommend the Marriott up the street. They have daily cleaning and a better variety of food and drinks in their bar. The staff has been trained on customer service. Just an overall better experience. I will be filing a formal complaint with this establishments corporate office and management team."
