"My husband and I visited Oshkosh in Woodstock, located on 915 Ridgewalk Pkwy space d430 (03/25/2023) with our 4 year old Autistic son. We are not Woodstock residents but we were looking for a Converse store located outside of a mall and stumbled across this lovely strip of stores. We usually shop Oshkosh online but Oshkosh was across from Converse, so we decided to shop in-store. The customer service during checkout with Alexandria was amazing but our overall shopping experience was horrible. I’ve never been racially profiled, so I really hate to play the race card but my family was definitely racially profiled. We were followed around by security, as soon as we entered the store. The security officer, who may have also been the manager was at the register when we entered but when my son ran over to the toy section, the security officer started walking towards us, as I followed him. The security officer was standing on the same row, arms folded, staring at us. I instructed my son to put the toy down because the toys were not age appropriate for him. The security guard continued to follow us to the middle of the store, until my son ran over to his father. He then stopped following me and fixed his eyes on my husband, shaking his head at him and our son. I continued to shop, losing sight of the security officer. The store was occupied by other customers, all of whom were not people of color, yet my family was the only family followed in the store. I spent over $160 in Oshkosh but I would’ve loved to spend more, if I wasn’t so uncomfortable shopping. This was the only store my family did not feel welcomed but I will not allow this one incident to prevent us from shopping at Oshkosh. However, this will be the last time I visit this location. Thank you. The receipt is proof of visit with time stamp."
"I have 3 children under the age of 7 and have shopped at many different children's clothing stores, this one is my favorite. Not too expensive and great quality."
"This mall/ store is dead during the week. So you'd think they have more sales associates (ones that know what they're doing and not chewing gum while ringing up a purchase) and more registers open. I waited in line just watching the manager run back and forth between the two stores (osh Kosh and Carter's) solving problems. I ended up just leaving. Disgusted."
