"Went in there with a handful of money ready to buy a bunch of stuff. They told us the fitting rooms were closed without an explanation....? went there specifically for some school clothing and were disappointed. There are sale signs everywhere just like you see in the pictures but one person working the register and a line running out the door, people getting frustrated and leaving without buying things just as we did. We went a few stores down to a competitor and spent several hundred dollars and we're happy. Really disappointed in this Children's Place. We are long time customers and I guess at this point going to be considering another vendor for our needs."

"Drove an hour to have kiddos try on sizes, fitting room was closed b/c it was full of merchandise according to employee. I was looking for a particular style of shorts, asked the employee if they had them & was told "everything we have it up there""
"Unfortunate employees at this store need to show up sick. Children's Place, what is your sick policy? Shopping for my 9 month old, I was extremely turned off watching an employee clearly very sick stocking items and coughing all over. You should re-think paid sick time for your staff; otherwise, your staff are infecting our little babies. It is a shame retail workers feel they have no choice but to work sick to support their family."
"Bad experience. Had bought a button up shirt at another CP store, was marked down. After buying saw a hole in it. Came here to exchange or return for another one. Told the sales clerk about the issue and she spoke with the manager. The manager said it was probably marked down to begin with because of defect. I never have known of CP to purposely sell defective clothing. Who takes a shirt off the hanger, unbuttons it and checks for defects before buying it? I asked that, and they just looked at me.... I asked what they would do with it if it was returned. Was told it would be put it back on floor to resell. Cannot believe they would resell a defective piece of clothing. I ended up keeping it and the original store I bought from was great about replacing and returning it."
