"The customer service could be better when getting air in your tire. You're ignored and have to wait 20 minutes or longer after you are told to go to certain section. You may have to go inside more than once to inquire."

"So. I wanted to mention a few great customer care by a staff name Steve McFarland. One- Steve assisted me with contacting towing service (pep boys tow) which was very inexpensive compared to others. About $60 2nd- Steve took time out to find the engine type of my van. As I had no idea. 3rd- he found great discounts for the service I needed. I really appreciate the assistance and professionalism. Will come again"

"I initially came in for low tire pressure a couple of months ago. This was when the weather changed and it was extremely cold outside. The assistant service manager, Steve was very gracious. He took his time and reassured me that the tire was OK after they checked it and made sure the air pressure was at the weight that it should have been for my vehicle. The tire pressure light came on again yesterday and I returned to this location for assistance. Steve once again was extremely helpful in assisting me with my tire as this time it had a nail in it. His Customer Service is top-notch."

"This was my first time here and I needed two new tires. They had a special online, but the tire/car tool wasn’t accepting my car for the tire size I needed. So I called the Covington Hwy location and spoke to Howard and he was great. He said they had the size I needed in stock, but wouldn’t be able to do the exact price online. But, said he would still give me a discount close enough. When I came to the location, Howard and everyone else was very nice and professional. There were a lot of people ahead of me, but they were able to get my car done within 2.5 hrs, which isn’t bad, especially with what was going on with others vehicles that needed a lot more than I did. The ladies restroom was also clean and they had refreshments for customers. I will definitely be coming back here for services."

"Don't go. They are only after your money. I went because my car would shake after going about 60 mi. Just had a brand new Turbo put in, which I told the staff. Once they "looked" at my vehicle the guy said it was my Turbo going out. I asked him to balance and rotate my tires. He didn't, just said it had nothing to do with the turbo. Called my fiance, he talked to guy, guy told him the same. He tried to charge us 2,200. Fiance told me to leave. Next day we went ELSEWHERE to have tires balanced and rotated and the car runs smooth as ever. Guy at desk at pep boys obviously knew what the problem was and just wanted more money. There is no other way to look at this because why would you refuse to balance my tires. Well, we spent $400 ELSEWHERE and had the tires balanced and rotated and when I tell you the car feels like brand new, it does. We good now thanks to another source."
