Wingate Augusta Washington Road by Wyndham

"This is a fine accommodation in Augusta, we are here for the funeral our family took several rooms and everyone is pleased we stayed here. Staff is amazing, GM Kishan goes above and beyond to accommodate each guest. They welcomed us as diamond members. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very spacious. Lobby is big and very relaxing."

"First, ALWAYS take reviews into account. I booked this hotel because it was close to my niece and we were in Augusta for her graduation. There is no option for ZERO stars but this is what I would give. I read the reviews and thought it couldn’t be that bad because it’s a well known hotel, Wyndham. WRONG! This is a franchise owned by people who do not believe in cleaning. As mentioned in another review, the halls have a strong smell of marijuana. The carpet in the halls is disgusting with stains all over it. The ice machine is rusted and had towels on the floor under it to catch the leaking water. The dining area ceiling had several stains from some sort of leak. The elevator is small and I’m not sure if it’s ever cleaned. There was so much dirt in it. When we got to the room, we checked the beds….the mattress pad had BLOOD on it…and not just a little. Someone started their period on that bed and the staff left the mattress pad on the bed and put a clean sheet on top of it. The other bed had a huge stain on it. I couldn’t be sure what that was. Both comforters had blood spots and what appeared to be feces on it. We had to get new linen and change it all ourselves and soak the beds in Lysol. We would have left but it was 11pm and no availability in the area. There were several graduations happening that weekend. The owners denied any sort of refund for the troubles. I literally stayed up most of the night worried about what we were breathing in. I have reported this to corporate Wyndham as well as the Augusta health department. Do not stay here!! Listen to the reviews. The ones that have anything positive to say are probably written by the owners friends and family."

"This is the absolute worst Wingate I've ever been to. Whole hallway smells of cigarettes and Marijuana. Rooms poorly laid our. Beds gard and uncomfortable. Elevator is very small. Small TV. Little parking."

"First of all for the price this hotel was good. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I got a king studio that came with a sofa. The sofa had a lot of stains and bathroom could of been cleaner. The breakfast was fine and parking was no issue. Location was great close to a lot of restaurants. Overall I would stay here again."

"Enjoy everything. The rooms are nice. They have a good breakfast. The stuff is always friendly. Location is good because you're by all the restaurants. I love it! Can't complain."
