Apple Drugs (Crown Heights Pharmacy)

"I grew up going here, my grandpa used to take me, and now the tables have turned and I'm caring for him and picking up his medicine. It's overwhelming being a caregiver by myself. But enough about me. I was told over the phone they had his medicine, but his insurance was no longer accepted. They said they would transfer it to a neighboring pharmacy and it will only take a couple of minutes. I went to the neighboring pharmacy hours later and they had no record of his things and advised me to just have his doctor send it over because I assume Apple Drugs is really difficult. Something told me to still try Apple because I'm just tired and overwhelmed. I went there, she brought the medicine and said I can just wait to see how much it would cost w/o insurance. I waited, she forgot I was there. I went to the counter and she was surprised to see me and then said she didn't have his medication which was weird... I smiled and walked out."

"Oh my goodness… where to start!? I RARELY write reviews however this must be said.. This may very well be the worst pharmacy in the state! Potential customers beware RUDE & RACIST. They do not answer the phone and customer service is none existent!! I received the wrong medication after waiting days for my prescription to be filled and was met with racist undertones and snarky responses. I would rather take my business to a Walgreens before ever supporting blatant acts of racism towards customers in 2023, I mean come on how ridiculous."

"I went here and the service was terrible. The pharmacist was being very nasty with me and she also got loud. The owner, a white male in his 60s or 70s, came out and I thought he was going to help the situation but he actually used a racial slur against me which was so shocking!!! This place needs to be shut down!!"

"They are so helpful, so friendly - so EFFICIENT - that it surprises me each time I interact with their staff. I live in Crown Heights and they DELIVER my refill each month. It's such a time saver for me and really convenient. It's no extra fee and they just seem pleased to do it. When I call to remind them that I need a refill, they remember who I am and get it sent out (via bicycle) immediately. I've rarely run into a business or a staff who treats me so kindly and respectfully, while also doing their job so well. Highly recommended. and i am really gonna miss the Marvin who was one of the partners who always helped those in need, i once was in line and there was a lady who couldn't afford the formula that her baby needed( it was the expensive kind). when he heard this as he was passing he told the manager to just give her 2 and not charge."

"Updating my review: Since my last review I have been to this drugstore several times to buy vitamins. This place is a great place to buy Kosher vitamins. They have all kinds of Kosher vitamins at competitive prices. These times when I went everyone, including employees and customers, were wearing masks. It seems like they have gotten stricter with their mask policy. The customer service there is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
