"Wouldn’t come here for anything ever again. I left with my computer in worse shape then when I came in, all on having two keys caps and butterfly holder mechanisms replaced on a MacBook Pro. The keys typed just fine, but either the holder or key cap was broken and needed a simple replacement. I came here years ago when there was still a dry cleaner in the back and had my phone screen replace. It was quick, efficient and reasonably priced. Be warned a lot of the reviews from this place are from back then! I’m glad I stayed and checked in with the technician who tried to convince me that one key was replaced when it clearly was not functional to the extent that the other keys on the keyboard were. It was as if he had just slapped the key cap back on the same broken butterfly mechanism. When I saw the work that was going on I told him to stop and put everything back the way it was and then I saw him trying to GLUE the mechanism back to the raw keyboard underneath, which is absolutely not how it’s meant to be done. You can see in the photo that one of the keys looks absolutely mangled now, and I’m just hoping the board underneath isn’t damaged. Additionally, they were pulling parts from other dead computers to make repairs and searched for a mac book in a stack of computers the repair man had under his work station to see if they had one compatible after I started to complain that the job wasn’t being done properly. I asked the manager if they were certified to repair apple products and he said yes but there was no certification displayed in the store. On top of this, for whatever it’s worth, the store is incredibly dirty and has mosquitoes and flies inside, as well as piles of garbage in the back. Trust your gut like I didn’t and don’t come here for anything."
