"I do not recommend this building at all!!! Terrible management and supervisor, it’s the end of November and we still don’t have heating! Supervisor told us that he called a technician a month ago and still no action! Management are not answering emails etc. Neighborhood is also dirty and unsafe. Stay away from this place."

"Please save yourself any heartache and stress. The building managers are extremely neglectful. There are several months of no heating/ac, several instances of no hot water without prior notice, extreme lack of communication and responsiveness, and general disrespect for the livelihood of tenants living in the building. The Sidney is a huge health code violation!!!!"

"Very bad experience for my 2 year stay. Super and management are very unprofessional. They conducted 2 inspection of my apartment before I leave the apartment and I have been texting multiple times to the super to do his job of inspection. That guy never replies or attend the phone and never told me anything else other than deep cleaning. I hired professional cleaners and did a perfect clean and still finally they ended up deducting my 100$ for no reason. I called them multiple times and they avoid picking up calls and never call back with VMs. I had multiple bad experiences before but never complained or left a negative review before. But now I am very much frustrated with the negligence. Please try to avoid renting this place, as there are very good apartments in the safe area nearby with good responsible management."

"Stay away from this place!!!! Extremely unprofessional experience. This place advertised 2 months free and one month with an AMEX gift card. Totally amazing it sounded like. My roommate and I submitted applications and wired our money to management. They dragged their feet on giving us the keys for 2 weeks. When they finally sent our welcome package, we asked the super for our keys and he said he was told not to give us keys. Next thing you know, management calls us to say they don’t want to do the advertised deal anymore. Only one month free. After going threw immense hassle and waiting to move in with email communication, even shipping furniture there, we ended all ties and had demand our money back through a lawyer. I am so transparent in saying DO NOT RENT HERE. Not sure if it was a race thing, but we are both black if that means anything. We thought it was fishy because they met us. Anyway, don’t go through what we did. Yes it’s too good to be true."

"I was in the market for first Appartment for my only daughter. After looking in many buildings I picked The Sidney because superintendent Johnny went above and beyond and met my expectations for 200%. Rental manager was very polite and professionally handled my application in timely matter. I will recommend this nice building to all of my friends."
