Clayton Manor Apartments

"Waited several months to hear from Clayton Manor after applying for an apartment. After leaving a message, not getting a response, and calling back multiple times after that to check for availability/see what the problem was, they said that since my fiancée didn’t make enough to afford the apartment alone, we couldn’t get a joint lease (yanno, as an engaged couple that can afford rent) until we’re married. Very understanding, responsive, and will work with their potential tenants!!"

"Been here 28 years & have been very happy with just about everything. Rent is not bad for what other people are paying. Maintenance is pretty quick to fix things & buildings are secure & they even have small storage compartment in the laundry room for your detergent & fabric softener. Never had an issue with people taking things. Also very quiet. They also have a locked storage unit for things like bikes,sporting equipment, & things you want to save & don't have room in your apartment for. Plenty of closet space. Dishwasher, garbage disposal & air conditioner included along with basic cable for tv. Heat & hot water included. Grounds are well maintained as well as inside of hallways & carpets vacuumed once a week. Overall a great place to live."

"No apartment complex or the management is perfect and someone will always be unhappy. However, for the price, I am incredibly happy with the ameneties, the responsiveness and overall proactive maintenance of the "campus" or complex. PROS: - Snow clearing is quick and thorough. - Requsets for repairs are always handled promptly - The gym room is clean and the equipment is usually in good order - Garages are amply sized and every apartment comes with a good amount of off-site storage space. - Laundry and change machines work all the time - Maintenance of outside lawns is very well upkept. - Paid car wash and vacuum cleaner available CONS: - Newer gym equipment or fixing the broken ones and water cooler would be nice - Card activated laundry so one card = one machine would be appreciated - Wish there was a small playground for little kids"

"Old, outdated features and appliances. Requests for replacements are continuously denied or ignored entirely (even if you offer to pay for it). Communication with the front office regarding maintenance almost always needs to be followed up on (usually several times). Decent sizing and nice layout. The old appliances are a huge negative, but otherwise these are nice apartments."

"Clayton Manor apartments was one of the best places I've lived. The units are large, not very costly, and have such a great atmosphere to them. I can't recall ever hearing my neighbors during the year that I lived there, it was always very peaceful, and people are friendly. Living on the ground floor we had fewer insect issues than I thought we would, maybe two or three encounters with spiders throughout the year. No one can keep all the bugs out, though! I had a two bedroom apartment, and the living room was spacious, bigger than I even needed! There was ample storage space in an entrance closet, wall to wall sliding door closets in each room, and a storage unit outside the apartment. Jill in the office is amazing. She was always understanding and accommodating of tenant needs, and we really appreciated that. I ended up moving to California when I got a job out there, and it really made me sad to have to leave. Clayton Manor was a great home."
