"The receptionist and nurse were very pleasant. With that said, the doctor was not listening to me as I was explaining my symptoms. I showed him pictures of my face and he clearly wasn’t interested, and he just shrugged his shoulders. The appointment ended with no answers. I asked him if I could possibly have a sun allergy. His response was there is no such thing as a sun allergy. There are numerous documented cases of sun sensitivity causing allergic reactions. I felt like he couldn’t wait for me to leave and that I was wasting his time. The report he wrote was vague and poorly written. I will never go to Certified Allergy and Asthma Consultants again. A rating of 1 is to high!"
"I was really put off by the receptionist. She was snarky and wouldn’t make me an appointment. She said my condition wasn’t an allergy (which I fully understand). However, I wanted to see if I have any allergies that are potentially making my condition worse. She told me she had been there 18 years and seen anything that I could be treated. I would’ve liked to at least have had the chance to talk to a nurse or the doctor and fully explain myself to someone other than the lady answer a phone."
"I absolutely LOVE the office in Troy!! I moved here from NJ and had a wonderful allergist down there for myself and my oldest son. I did some research and found the reviews on the Troy office to be very good and so we made an appointment. We see Dr. Claussen and she couldn't be more amazing. She takes the time to sit down with us and explain everything that's going on, what measures they are going to take to help alleviate the issues and answers any and ALL questions you may have, no matter how many. I never feel rushed and that was important since my son continues to develop allergies (food and environmental) as well as a late development of asthma."
