"The ppl are good what baffles me is that they are giving Mufty certificates to unqualified individuals left and right. Some don’t even finish the full term, most don’t even speak Classical Arabic?. also the fatwas they have to write for the PHD (Mufty ijaza) are either short minor ones that even a lay man can answer or they write it in Urdu or another language other then Arabic?. Do the scholars not fear Allah? Do they just want recognition for how many mufties they push out?. This will end bad for you and your reputation, stop if it’s true. How is it that this is even allowed?. I want to send my children here please make your self more credible and in the eyes of the real scholars also please teach in only Classical Arabic so the kids from day one transfer from English to Arabic. Not Urdu pashto or Bangali. Come on how can we compete with anyone when our scholars can’t even have a debate in Arabic or write fatwas on serious matters in arabic. Instead rely on other scholars n use them or try to belittle the lay man when they question the status or credibility, bcuz they can’t do it Selfs. I have been to masjid where Arabs would get up in the crowd to refute them and they would sit quietly bcuz they can’t reply back in Arabic not bcuz they are humble. No hate, just in private other scholars have called you out and you still won’t stop and ignore the utter disregard to the real scholars who learned the Classical Arabic language, memorized the Quran sat and traveled to proper sheikhs to teach them. so now let’s make it public. Don’t wish bad or talk down give proper reply to these accusations."

"I stopped by to pray Ishaa prayer and I was so happy to meet with too many humble brothers. It is an enormous mosque with lots of activities from school, to learning Quran, to Pray in congregation. May Allah blesses whoever participated in building it and manage it."

"*PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS* My little sisters went to this school for about 1 and a half year. I feel like this school does not even properly teach the foundation of Islam. They are taking The meaning away from Islam at this school. I wish I can put 0 stars. My sisters were not allowed to wear their own gold rings and would get it taken away. I was told that when visitors were come to the school, the students had to clean the bathrooms and my sister had to even scrub the walls with towels. One time, my sister had to write a paragraph 1,000 times for the misbehavior of the other students and when my mother heard about this, she called the teacher personally and the teacher was scared and claimed she gave lollipops to the students. When my mom tried contacting the school the next day, they shut the phones off because many parents were calling the school. My father had to pay $200 monthly for lunch and they did not even eat school lunch. Also, the girls are forced to wear niqab and niqab is not forced upon woman in Islam since niqab is not mandatory. Teachers would get one student and force the student to snitch on other students social media accounts, this happened to one of my sisters. They would find Instagram accounts of the students from school and suspend the students. This is not fair because whatever the students do outside of school is their business.PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE SENDING YOUR CHILD/ SISTER / NIECE / NEPHEW ANYONE HERE!"

"Assalamu alaikum. Jazakumullah khairan for the kind reviews, may Allah reward you all and accept us for the sake of his deen in both worlds. As for those who write against it, they should be careful, here the deen of Allah is being taught. Mr. Zazi (who besides complaining, is still our student, and hopefully he remains as we are happy with him), if you come late everyday and never come up when called then obviously you'll only learn surah Fatihah, and funny how you pointed out "read, read, read" as a complaint, it was the very same instruction given to the Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam). As for mr. Loki, the very person you praised (tanwir) is a graduate of Duny and the other institutions you praised are closely linked and themselves praise Duny so your guilty of double standards. Those who really want to know should come visit us here in Darul Uloom new York. Ma'as salaam."
