"Bark place is by far the best grooming salon in all of East Tennessee. The owners are very cordial and very hands on and our groomer for our Chorkie Abby is Caleigh!!. This young lady is so personable, caring and loved by Abby. Thank you BarkPlace and our heart goes out to Caleigh."

"We have been here a couple times previously. First time, our toy poodles hair was entirely too short. So the second time, we said we did not want it that short, and our dog came back looking like her head was some sort of cross between a parakeet, and perhaps a mullet, with a mostly shaved body. My wife wanted to give them one more chance, so I dropped her off again. They said her legs had some matting, but they would see what they could do. She asked, and I confirmed that we would need a phone call before anything drastic happened. They call to inform us that the matting is "too extensive" and she will have to be shaved. We declined and said we would come get her to take her elsewhere. Get there to get the dog and her whole body minus her legs are shaved! They proceeded to shave her body, then decided to call us about the legs. After some discussion about "matting" the owner brought out some hair and claimed it was our dogs matted ear hair from the last groom (clearly not even the color of our dog) then suggested we take her to the vet to see what he says about the "extensive matting". Extremely unprofessional all around in my opinion. I can see why this place has some of the worst reviews in the area, and why the owner gets on to defend or deny every one of them."

"I love Bark Place! We are newer clients (5 months) but Linguini is a Lagotto (a fairly rare breed) with very specific grooming requirements that give him the “breed” look. Our groomer has really taken the time to pay attention to the grooming attributes that live up to the breed’s standards. I am a part of Lagotto dog groups on social and I am so happy that Park Place does such an amazing job. I see others in the groups posting all the time about the “bad grooms” they get or where the groomers have just gone with a poodle or doodle look. Not our groomer!!! Linguini is one of the best groomed dogs on the pages. Would highly recommend park place to truly listen to you and care about what you and your dog need."

"The owner & her husband are very UNPROFESSIONAL when it comes to their employees. If you’re thinking about applying or taking your animals I would kindly rethink & check out other options. They are both very rude and refused to allow their employee (who needed emergency surgery) to leave and go to the hospital to get checked out, and even offered prescribed drugs to one of their 18 year old employees. This is NOT how you treat your employees, and this poor girl is still in the hospital barley 24 hours out of surgery and the owner is almost demanding this poor girl back to work in 2-10 days. Very unacceptable, and want everyone to know that if this is how their employees are treated then your animals that you’re trusting them with are NOT in good hands.."
