"Touring Brockport college and stopped here for lunch. It was an amazing find and we'll certainly be going back. The burger was so good, I wish I could give it more stars! Food, service and atmosphere were great, highly recommend."

"I have lived in Brockport for about 4 years now and this place continuously disappoints me. The food for some reason always comes out cold. One time I went there and got a cold plate of brisket, I sent it back and 2 minutes later comes out steaming. Chef microwave on the case. I would not recommend this place unless you were dying from BBQ withdraw. Oh and we ordered broccoli and it was wet and unseasoned when we got it, picture below."

"We just moved to the area. We love ribs, but the ribs seemed overcooked. The baked beans, salad, and corn bread were good. Service was great, and they did accommodate us by replacing my husband's ribs, which were extremely overcooked with a more meaty ribs. Great flavor, but just dry. Maybe it was a bad day for the ribs. My son got the 58 main plate hamburger, and it was suppose to have chopped onions but no onions. We will try again and maybe order the chicken. There are a lot of other choices on the menu."

"Excellent smoked chicken wings! Got them with the dry rub and the flavor was next-level great! Corn bread was great also, not over the top sweet but very tasty. Coleslaw was a little "flat" on flavor and needed more tang to go with a bbq plate. I would not say it was bad. Just my preference that this was not the right version of coleslaw for this dish."

"An absolute BBQ favorite of anyone who has had the chance to eat here. Also, a clear favorite of SUNY Brockport students, who are instantly excited by the proposal of a trip to 58. I realized I had accumulated a good amount of photos and figured it was time for a review. I've had a handful of meals here, from celebrating birthdays and back-to-school dropoffs to watching Cowboys games. The appeal is simple: a local eatery who cares about their craft and is great at what they do. The atmosphere is what you might expect; clean, usually busy, and perhaps loud, but par for the course! The servers are attentive and courteous [once I left behind a birthday card with $50 and they were actually able to save it for a week before I stopped by to pick it up!]. And most important of all (to me), the food is excellent and never disappointing. All of the barbecue options I've tried have been fantastic from the brisket and the pulled pork to the ribs and half chicken. I've particularly enjoyed the brisket and chicken wings. Their sides of coleslaw and tomato cucumber salad are very well done and refreshing. And even if you're not a fan of BBQ, you'll surely find something appealing as their menu is very broad and diverse! On my last trip, I got a beautiful burger. All this to say: try this place and you'll keep coming back for more!"
