"This is the absolute worst repair service we have ever used in 50 years. We have an Ellica hood for our stove. It was under one year old when it completely died. We work through Lieberts Royal Green Appliance in White Plains and they contacted Ateks regarding our hood. They were told shortly after that we were contacted by Ateks and WE WERE NOT CONTACTED. Meanwhile, Ateks told Lieberts that they knew which part had to be replaced WITHOUT EVER COMING TO SEE THE PROBLEM. Finally, I was able to reach someone at Ateks directly and I expressed the frustration that we had waited 6-7 weeks for "the part" to come in. I stated that it was absurd to wait for a part when they didn't even know for sure that that was the part we needed. Finally, two guys came with "the part" that had finally arrived many weeks later and it was the wrong part. It has been over two months since we have a working hood. Our smoke alarms go off whenever we cook. Lieberts has been great and is trying to get a response from them now. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE. IT IS UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETENT."

"Ateks is a service provider used by Lowes protection plan. A technician showed up, said he would order part and they would call me to schedule. That was two weeks ago and I haven’t heard a word since then. They do not answer the phone, they do not respond to voicemail messages and they do not reply to emails. And when Lowes tries to contact Atek they do not respond to them either. Never had an experience like this in my life. These people are despicable, disgraceful and much much worse. You need to be brain dead to attempt to use Atek."

"This company is a scam. They took a deposit from us in February of 2022. They needed to order a part for a dryer and never performed the work and never refunded the deposit. They are a bunch of thieves. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. We intend to report them to the Better Business Bureau and to the Westchester County Department of Consumer Affairs. If we could give then a negative star rating it would be too high."

"DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME (LITERALLY) AND MAKE YOUR APPLIANCE REPAIRS WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!!! Absolutely horrible. I set up an appointment with them through my Lowe's protection plan for my refrigerator. I had an appointment for July 2nd for 8a-5p window which is long in itself. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. My brother and mother waited home all day. It was July 4th weekend so we had to wait till Tuesday to call them because they weren't picking up the day of the appt which was Saturday. I had to call them because my family was waiting for their arrival. They didn't pick up the phone Tuesday or Wednesday on July 5th and 6th and I called multiple times. They call me back Thursday to schedule an appt and they denied missing the first one (with attitude). I told the girl I literally spoke to her about scheduling my first appointment and she acted like it wasn't her. They literally gave me the date for July 20th which was far away yet I took it with a messed up fridge. THEY DIDNT SHOW UP AGAIN! Very unprofessional company. I called Lowe's Protection Plan very upset today and they tried to schedule me with Ateks again and I sternly told them that I will not do work with them and luckily they obliged and allowed me to find my own service provider. As you can tell from other reviews, not only mine, they don't show up for appointments so be careful when setting up service with them."
