"Attending this school during quarantine and I must say that it is really good. The only thing is that I feel way too comfortable. The work there is pretty light for high school and I don't feel too challenged. If you want the high school experience this may not be the best of the best but it is really a good place to go if you only care about your grades. The staff there are really helpful and the teachers are available to help you when scheduling a time to meet. Its just that the work, clubs and overall experience of high school is a little boring in my opinion. (not saying that quarantine doesn't play a part but it could be better). Its the best place to go if you want to feel safe in a school since there are very little kids in each class."
"I was lucky enough to attend this school 9th-12th grade. It is incredible how much support I received from my teachers; they are very smart and always willing to help (even to this day). As I approach my final semester of undergrad, I can say with confidence that this school has prepared me well for college. My professors were astonished with my critical thinking and writing skills that I learned from my TYWLS teachers and staff. I met my best friends at this school; I always felt safe at TYWLS. The school does a very good job at celebrating everyone's cultures and uniqueness. TYWLS takes the college application process very seriously. The school has experts helping the girls with college and federal aid applications. Students bring in millions of dollars worth of scholarships every year. It is actually not that surprising when you learn that the school's graduation rate and college acceptance rate has been almost 100% for the past four years."
"Everyone in the school is really nice and caring. The teachers are very welcoming and are very respectful to the parents. I feel very safe at the school. The teacher care about the students always wanting the best for them. I've had good experiences at the school. I am glad that my sister goes to TYWLS because college is also a priority for them. Everything I have to say about TYWLS are good things."
"I attended this school for both middle and high school and I must say that I owe this school a lot. The community is diverse, cozy and small and I always had the attention of my teachers. Every teacher in this school cares about the education of the girls and are incredibly supportive. They prepare the girls for the real world and college. Because of TYWLS, I figured out what kind of person I am, the values I hold, and what I want to do with my life."
"This middle school is terrible!!! My daughter got bullied badly since first year of attending. The staff don't care about the students and they don't teach well. The staff members pick on certain students and disrespect them as well. The students treat each other very cruel and have no manners. There is ongoing bullying and drama between the students which the administration doesn't do anything about. I had to transfer my daughter out of the school due to the school's poor academics. I don't even think she is well prepared for high school. My daughter had a terrible time in this school. This school should definitely be closed down!"
