"As someone who actually goes to this school I think that it does teach you, there are fun activities and it is inclusive and diverse and supports and accepts LGBTQ+ Students and staff, my only complaints are that it’s very mentally stressful and teacher sometimes pick favorites, on top of that there are a lot of fights between students and teachers can sometimes just turn a blind eye even when it happening right in front of them. The kids do also use a lot of swearing and profanity but to be honest I don’t personally see it as a big problem considering it’s not really harming anyone and it’s just kids being kids."
"I attended to this school! I learned so much, specially in art and photography. Love Mr. Titus and Mrs. Magaris. All teachers were great."
"this school is mid it ain’t that good tbh, they don’t care about the kids at times and they pick sides. this school mentally drains me and other students be aware. the teachers are chill/nice but don’t get on their bad side. the students are weird and crazy. the 3 years of my life there was the worst. the dean doesn’t care with stuff and she doesn’t do her job. she stands up for ppl who are her favorite dont talk to my the counselors about anything personal they’ll call ACS/call your parents be aware."
"I went to this school from 1996 to 1999, it was truly hell. Constantly getting robbed and beat up by kids from Ravenswood projects. Saw math teacher throw a student against the lockers and threaten to beat him. If you were bullied, you were discouraged from making complaints. The teachers were only there for a pay check. Although the school was diverse, it was also very racist."
"I just love that school so much!!! The teachers are so nice and kind and funny too!! Besides it's former reputation this school is much more organized and productive all thanks to the principal's hard work. I just went their for sixth grade last year and I loved it! It was never boring or irritating, it was always fun because of all the extracurricular activities that we did during the day and also field day in Rainy Park was awesome!! I am going to that same school again for seventh grade this September 9th and I am proud of my school!!! If you are looking for a good school that is both regular and G&T, this is the school you should enroll your children here!!!"
