Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Crown Heights

"I stayed here for two nights in 2017. Thought I left a review. I thought it was very good for the price, especially anything in NYC. Price was low even with a big event going on at Barclays Center. Rooms are very compact, although if traveling solo it’s not cramped. The room was exceptionally clean, most importantly the linens and bathroom. Television and electrical outlets all worked. No weird smells or stains. Location still looks a bit sketchy, although it’s clear the area is undergoing gentrification. I felt and was safe the entire trip, even during very late night / very early morning walks all over the place. There is (was?) a shelter nearby but I wasn’t bothered by anyone. In fact, Brooklyn is the only borough I’ve ever experienced friendly and helpful people. Big plus: close to metro (or whatever it’s called in NYC). Big negative: Not much at all nearby for food or drinks ... definitely still in a food desert. UberEATS and DoorDash were needed!"

"We, my husband, two children and myself, stayed at this hotel for a week when we had to come back home to NYC for a funeral. We were already stressed and distraught because of the fact that we had a major loss in the family so when we saw the room it was like a blow to chest. The room was basically a closet with a TV and bed in it. Half of the counter was missing, the curtains weren't ironed, the carpet wasn't properly vacuumed,the pillowcases had little stains on them. We were cramped in that room. Luckily, we were out and about for the majority of our stay so I can say, it's a good enough place to stay if you just need a place to rest your head. The staff was pleasant, and generally people just left you alone. Breakfast was great and checking out went smoothly. I do hope the area surrounding the hotel improves in the coming years"

"Very comfortable and clean room - a bit small, but nice. The breakfast was really good each day and the young guy working there each night, was exceptionally helpful and gracious. The train station was not too far at all. limited parking and there were lots of stores within walking distance. A truly enjoyable experience and I plan on staying there again on next trip."

"great service/help desk when you walk in. parking is very limited, rooms are small so it's a place to stop an rest. bathroom was really great, downstairs they have the main cafeteria where you can go to enjoy breakfast from 7-11am... that's also where you'll find the ice machine and vending machine and water machine, plus coffee an orange and apple juice. staff was good an quick when you ask for them to clean the room. beds were comfy"

"Upon my arrival I went straight to the parking garage. To my surprise there was only 4 parking spots and they were all taken. I went to the front desk and asked if their were any parking space available but the lady answered with an attitude "it's first come first serve" the whole point of me getting this hotel was because it said parking is available. When I got in my room the bathroom was literally falling apart. Their was a big hole in the shower. Their was water dripping out of it. I called the lady and asked if anyone checked this room before we came and she did apologize and had us switch rooms. But overall my experience kinda sucked. First no parking and then broken shower room. The next day I woke up thinking I cant wait for delicious breakfast but the only thing they had was toast. I can definitely say that the room service got better, fresh towels, clean bathrooms."
