"My stay here was relatively uneventful, the room was good for the price and location to transport. The floor in my room was absolutely filthy, and there was no drain stop in the sink so jewelry could have easily gotten lost. Faucet was leaky, but the shower was wonderful. There was shampoo/conditioner but curiously no hand soap. Plethora of outlets in the room, and friendly staff. I do wish there would have either been coffee makers in the room, or something available in the lobby."

"I had an absolute nightmare of a time reserving my rooms (absolute horrible customer service for months leading up to my stay) and when I got to the hotel it was nothing like described. The standard room had very few of the amenities listed, and it was dirty/ broken? I had two rooms side-by-side and one of them had a mini fridge and the other one didn’t, despite being the same room and rate?? There was a random hole in the drywall, and the baseboards and floor tiles were broken everywhere. There were exposed wires in the bathroom right above the shower (probably dangerous lol) and when we arrived the drain to our sink was broken and just sitting on the bathroom counter? There are no places to hand towels, and the bathroom is inaccessible. There was also no coffee anywhere in the building, and the ATM for the nearby cash-only cafe was broken, and the only vending machine was out of stock. There were lots of small things that led to an overall bad experience, and I would not stay here again."

"The Bogart has potential, looks very modern and new on the outside, but it is clearly still a work in progress. My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights. We didn’t explore the immediate area, but it is a 2 minute walk to the L train station which made it super convenient to travel around the city. The staff were friendly and the room was decent. It’s good if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and spend the rest of the day out and about. We had a fridge, microwave, TV, lots of drawer space, and blackout curtains. The phone and safe were placed in an odd location on a ledge above the bed. I was a bit paranoid if the safe would topple over since only half of the safe fit on the ledge and the other half of the safe was hanging over the ledge over my head if I were to lay in bed. The bed and pillows were comfy. The water took a bit of time to warm up, but the water pressure was great. The walls are thin so you can hear people in the hallway and you can also hear construction outside the hotel in the morning as well. Suggestions for improvement: Rooms: add towel rack/hooks, a full length mirror, coffee/tea, and complete the finishing touches e.g. patch up holes in the walls, clean up wiring. The lobby/workspace: furnish the empty spaces around the hotel, add other amenities such as a gym, water refill station, coffee machine, etc. There’s a lot of empty space in the hotel lobby, workspace, and lower level that can be utilized to improve the hotel experience."

"Overall a middling experience. The location has good transport access via the metro and a number of shops and cafes for breakfast/lunch, with kind staff giving advice for safely navigating the area at night. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive and always happy to help. The rooms were unfortunately quite a let down, especially for the pricing. With there being a number of us visiting we had three rooms of varying types. The first was a very standard hotel room, expected amenities and comfort and to a good quality including a balcony. The other two rooms were quoted as "loft apartments" these were in fact basement rooms with a staircase to a low ceiling bed room. The ensuite was spacious with a walk in shower. The main room was sparse and with a finish that looked very rough. Paint on the floor in some areas and lots of rust around the metal staircase. The advertised kitchenette consists of a sink, fridge and microwave but no facility to actually make/eat anything, nor even plates or cups. On the second day both the basement rooms developed a really bad smell, akin to rotting garbage that appeared to be coming from the AC unit. Even after a room clean the odur still persisted for the remaining days making any kind of rest in the room quite hard. Overall the place could definitely use some improvements and with the understanding that it's a fairly newly opened hotel I hope these issues will be quickly rectified to reflect the high potential of the hotel."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. I rented a room last minute not sure what to expect and upon arrival my room was upgraded due to overbooking. My room was clean, shower pressure was fine, comfy space and a huge balcony. Little to no city noise due to its location but I imagine you probably hear some construction during warmer months. The staff was attentive and kind. They don’t seem to have a front desk you can call, so you text or email the owner for any questions or concerns but he was quick to respond via text. Would definitely stay here again!"
