"if I could leave negative stars, I would. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! They tell you that you have to have a card on file to rent but its really so they can have a card to charge without your permission. And don't use anyone else's card to make a payment cause they steal from your friends too. They take double the payment when they can then hide behind their "policy" to try and justify taking peoples money without their permission. If you can't buy it flat out, just wait til you can. DON'T USE RENT A CENTER!!!"

"I hope someone can fix this problem and someone will be in favor of the client that I am!! ok, unfortunately I went over the three months of the contract, however I have continued to pay unfortunately this week I was 4 days late and the manager of Astoria treated me in the most despotic way I had to leave work because she called me like 20 times to my cell phone and I work in a place with hot oil I told him I can't talk and he still insisted he told me that I was irresponsible for spending 4 days that he was going to send me to court because I'm on the street and I don't pay my bills and She doesn't know me, she yelled at me, she wouldn't let me speak. In fact, I had a nervous breakdown. I had never been treated so badly or humiliated like that. It's a shame that they hire people like that who can't speak respectfully to their clients."

"Horrific store and customer service. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING HERE. Delivered a treadmill that didn't work. They told me a new one would be delivered, it wasn't and I received no phone call about it. I called and they said the new treadmill also didn't work and that's why it was not delivered. They told me they would order yet another treadmill. Of course I did not receive a call about the delivery for the 3rd treadmill- so I called and was told the 3rd treadmill also did not work. Spoke to the manager the next day and was told the employee lied to me and never ordered any new treadmills and that the truth is that the treadmill is backordered for weeks. Now they promised me a refund and are telling me it could take up to 2 months to receive it. Called back to confirm the refund and the same employee that lied to me- is still working there- and hung up on me when I asked questions about expediting the refund."
