"I rented the Westcott House out during the week of Christmas for my family (19 in all). First of all, the house is beautiful and, to my delight, it was decorated for Christmas! It has a pool table, ping pong table, huge hot tub, play ground, fire pit and so much more. It is my 3rd time staying here. The first time was in October 2019 for my daughter’s wedding (we had ~40 staying here). There are top notch wineries and the amazing Luray caverns to visit. I rate this rental A++++++++++++++++. Can’t wait till 2025!"

"My family and I were there in September for Labor Day weekend. Omg we had a blast. The house was beautiful and spacious. We definitely plan on going back. Everything we needed was there. Family loved it"

"Fantastic property with tons of space inside. The kitchen had everything we needed. Linens provided was a huge plus. Easy check in process/checkout process. Clean up was a breeze with the provided house keeping service. The outside of the property has two big fields, playground, picnic benches, and a bonfire with wood provided. We had a group of teenagers and they all loved it. We also loved being so close to the Shenandoah for tubing and took advantage of Luray Caverns close by. Under the deck needs some cleaning . We encountered a lot of bugs and wasps while outside All in all would highly recommend. Bring bug spray if staying in the summer."

"This place was great! The house is huge. The pictures definitely don't do it justice. Perfect for larger gatherings. There is space to sleep about 40 without issue as long as some people don't mind sharing a bed. There are even queen sized bunk beds! The common areas are also very large with one upstairs and one downstairs so different groups of people can be doing different things. IT's also in a great location. The town of Luray is just a 15 minute drive away and has lot's of fun stuff to do! The house was also very clean when we arrived. Overall, it was great!"

"This was the first family reunion where we needed to find a non-family member's home to hold it at. The previous five were in a large house in the Carolina mountains. The Wescott House was a perfect venue for our reunion. One of the most common questions I got all weekend was "How did you find this place?" because everyone thought it was great. There was plenty of room for 50 people, and we could cook our large Syrian feast without trouble, thanks to the two large kitchens. This mix of indoor and outdoor space (including the playground, picnic area, and fire pit) gave us plenty of options to spread out and spend time together. We hope to have another reunion here in the future."
