"We had a great stay in the Cottonwood cabin! Everything was as advertised, and the property is really lovely. The cabin was very clean, and we had great communication with the host. Highly recommend!"

"A quiet spot on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. There are four cabins on the property and they are situated so there is some privacy. Parking is not allowed near the cabins to give a more unobstructed view of nature. The bed was comfortable, but the futon used for a couch in the living room is not designed for easy sitting. Most of the kitchen essentials are provided, but we would have appreciated some missing items, such as a pot that can be used in the oven or a tea kettle for heating water. The Wi-Fi is adequate although not speedy. Couch potatoes will be disappointed in the lack of television reception, limited DVD selection, and inability to raise the volume adequate to enjoyable listening. The fire pits are great with a generous pile of wood to burn. The walk to the river is short, but one can't walk along it because of adjacent private properties. The last several miles of road to the cabins is unpaved but in good shape."
