"Absolutely loved staying here. The house and the rooms were beautiful. The attention to detail was apparent in everything from the cleanliness of the room, the amenities provided, to the morning breakfast. All at a price that's less than a comparable airbnb or a hotel"

"First of all, let me just say we absolutely loved this place. Pros: This is a very cute house located downtown Luray just off main street, so it's peaceful with its own parking area behind the house. Short walk to restaurants, ice cream, theater, and shops. The house was decorated extremely well. We had a main floor room just off the shared living room. The room was great. Very spacious, well decorated with large private bathroom. Coffee maker and tv in the room. The host puts a couple of bottles of water and soda in the mini fridge for your enjoyment at no charge. On the nice covered shady porch is a swing in one corner, small table, and chairs in the other corner. The swing was a great place to sit and chat. The hot tub in the backyard was quite enjoyable after a long day of traveling. Cons: Could not give a 5 star overall rating due to not having hot water available for a shower. I tried to get a hot shower Saturday night, no hot water. Sunday morning, no hot water. Need to improve/upgrade the hot water heater to provide showers for up to 8 people. The morning breakfast conversation was about who was able to get a hot shower and who wasn't. The morning breakfast was a simple continental style, which is fine. However, bagels were moldy, and that is not acceptable. The two main reasons to stay in a hotel, inn, airbnb, or wherever is to have a place to shower and rest. We got half of that. With that said, would I stay here again? Yes! The place was super charming and relaxing."

"We only stayed for night as we were passing through Luray. It was a lovely little inn. Loved the breakfast options! Egg muffins, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, mini cinnamon rolls, bananas, apples, coffee, OJ. It was definitely enough to hold you over until lunch. Great price for the room too! Would definitely book again."

"Cozy, cute, and convenient. A great place to stay while exploring Shenandoah National Park. The Cavern Room is quite private, as advertised, with comfortable beds. Very nicely restored house in downtown Luray, quiet but convenient to walk to restaurants and other attractions. The continental breakfast was tasty and had a good variety of food. Thanks!"

"Great location and very cute house and rooms. Host was available if needed but didn't hang around and annoy anyone. Breakfast was surprisingly varied. Price was very good for what we got. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again."
