"Waited months for a new patient appointment. Finally got in and my daughter had a physical to establish her as a patient at that practice . Then the provider she saw left and a year later when she wanted to make an appointment for regular care they said she would be considered a new patient again because the DOCTOR LEFT!!! And she would have to go back and try to get in as a new patient at another of their offices because that office wasn’t taking new patients. What horrible care. The wait again for a new patient…Several months!!! Avoid this place like the plague and it’s other offices at Jubal Early, Amherst St. and Rutherford Crossing."

"Dr. Byrd is wonderful! She has the BEST bedside manner, she doesn't rush you and really listens to you. You can tell her cares deeply about her patients."

"Dr. Valusa is cold and incompetent. I gained 40 pounds in a month after being put on a new birth control and instead of offering me any kind of solution or help, she asked if it was causing trouble in my marriage. I went to her for an ear infection where I had lost hearing and had been on antibiotics, and I asked for prednisone, she didn’t want to prescribe because of potential weight gain, I had to tell her I would risk it to not permanently damage my hearing. If you’re a person who needs medical care please ask for a different doctor, but especially if you’re a larger person. Lastly, I’ll just add, there is a reason she’s the one that always has availability."

"I do not recommend going to this facility at all. I am a health professional and I was horrified by how they treated me as a patient and can only imagine what it would be like for others. I was not a person to them, Dr. Valusa barely even knew what my chart said. If I wasn't knowledgable about my diagnosis, I would have received no help whatsoever in managing it. They took forever to sign off on physical therapy, so 1/2 of my visits were used up before she signed off on the paperwork to approve the treatment. Waste of my insurance. Then I needed my prescription refilled in a time sensitive manner. Every phone call was ended with "we will get that taken care of today". Then explain why it took 3 weeks to make it happen? And repetitive phone calls to the pharmacy and the doctor's office because Dr. Valusa could not take 2 seconds to sign it when it was discussed at my physical to continue it. Please for your own health, find a more caring, attentive doctor. You are not just a number, you are a person who deserves the utmost care and this is not the place to find it."

"HORRIBLE DR!! I would have given 0 stars if I could have. My boyfriend goes here and has been trying to get treatment for problems he is having with his liver, Sandra has ordered multiple tests and the only way we find out about the results is because I can see when they get loaded onto his My Chart Online. We have never received a call about his test results and only get answers when we call and ask for them! He has also gone in for his appointment only to be turned away because Sandra had to leave early. Completely unprofessional and has absolutely no concern for her patient's well being. I also have concerns over her ability to to properly diagnose him in the first place since nothing she has done to this point has been beneficial."
