Nathaniel Inn Vacations

"We rented the entire Inn, which did not include the cottage behind the Inn. The top floor consisted on 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms (1 king-size bed and 1 with 2 twin beds). It also had a SMALL office area. The bathroom was small for 2 bedrooms to share. The down stairs had 2 bedroom suites one with a king bedroom and a bathroom. The other suite had a nice size bathroom a bedroom and a separate sitting area with a simple sleeper couch. THERE IS LIMITED areas to hang clothes and dressers! There is only 1 TV in the entire house. The kitchen is nice but small. The dining room chairs are not comfortable and a plastic formed seats on wooden legs. The towels were limited, I had to ask for additional towels and kitchen towels. On the third night of our stay my daughter walked out of the upstairs bathroom to find a bride walking up the stairs. About 4 people came into the house with all of their "stuff" saying they were renting the area. What an experience at 12:30 A.M.!! It ended up being the fact that they had rented the cottage in the back, but HOW DID THEY GET ACCESS TO THE MAIN HOUSE? Parking is limited, granted we had 6 cars, so people ended up parking in the grass. The place was very nice other than the above mentioned items. It was very interesting to stay in such an old house. It was updated and very well maintained."

"A group of five of us converged on Gordonsville for a long weekend in August, 2020. Our stay at the Nathaniel Inn was perfect in every way! Beautifully restored, all the amenities, and more than enough room for 5. The kitchen is larger than mine at home! It was lovely to sit on the front porch, chat, and watch the world go by. Nearby, we enjoyed meals at or from Fabio's Pizza, the Inwood restaurant, Well Hung Vineyard, the BBQ Exchange, Laura Ann's in Orange, as well as cider tasting at Castle Hill Cider in Keswick. James Madison's Montpelier is nearby, too, with nice walking trails. Sunnie is a lovely and gracious hostess, and answered all our questions leading up to our stay. We highly recommend the Nathaniel Inn and the other attractions mentioned above!"

"Beautifully restored 4 bedroom house. Stayed with friends and everyone had their own room with wonderful amenities and space, nice sitting area, kitchen and grounds. We all had a great time!"

"This weekend, we had the privilege and pleasure of being one of three couples to stay in the Nathaniel Inn as its very first guests. This house is absolutely stunning! Every room has countless details that make you feel as though you've gone back in time. The blend of modern and antique decor makes this house truly one of a kind. You can walk into every room and 'feel' the history. We loved gathering on the front porch with some evening snacks and wine that we had purchased during our winery tours during the day. Inside, we had everything (and more!) that we could ask for to cook, relax, and make memories. Finally, when the day came to an end, we fell into the most comfortable bed ever. The bedding, pillows, private (and very luxurious) bathroom....all incredible! Everything about this house, and the very charming town, not only made us feel right at home, but afforded us one of the most memorable weekends we've had in a very long time.
