"We stayed in the second floor. It was warm, cozy, clean, and full of personality. Bed was firm with good pillow options. Kitchen had the basics for cooking and all appliances were clean and worked well. Every room in the flat was thoughtfully decorated which made it feel homey and comfortable. It’s centrally located and a short drive from Shenandoah Thorton Gap entrance. It was great coming and going from day trips in Shenandoah to exploring the shops, attractions, and food in the area."

"We rented the Hawksbill Suite for one night and it was wonderful! We thought it looked kind of spooky from the pictures but, while the decor is a very ornamental style, the house itself did not feel as haunted as we expected and the kitchen was very bright! The bed and pillows were like tempurpedic and there was a rain shower attached to a whirlpool bathtub. Location was great, just off of the main stretch of shops in Luray. It was about a 30 min drive to our hikes in Shenandoah. Would definitely stay here again! I think it would benefit from updated furniture, but I don’t want to take off any stars for that!"

"We had an amazing stay at Garfield Guesthouse. The room had amazing amenities in the Hawksbill sweet. A kitchen, amazing tub, comfortable living room, and comfortable bed. Many places we have stayed in Luray are overprice but this was definitely worth the money. The owners were very accommodating as well. We stayed her before our wedding and when I left my bag they drove it to our venue. They were amazing."

"We ended up staying over seven years ago because we were roadtripping and the hotel we had booked just wasn't working out. They were kind enough to rent to us and it was fantastic! The owners are amazing and helpful in any way needed"

"We rented a night in the Hawksbill Suite, which is the entire upstairs, and the photos don't do it justice. The bedroom is beautiful and has a surprisingly large closet which we used as a dressing room. The full kitchen is light & airy with all the dishes, nice tea selection, & cold water in the fridge. The bath has a new large oval jacuzzi tub that becomes a large shower. The living room was nicely spaced for snuggling on the couch with a bottle of wine. The place was kept immaculately clean and if there was a downstairs rental, we never heard them. Plus, the back of the house has a beautiful garden with two table sets, in case there are two sets of guests. There's not much really close as far as attractions but the house was very nice and if in Luray again we will be back."
