"My husband and I stayed at this cottage, and were very impressed with the amenities, amazing views, and perfect layout for a great get away. The host Betsy made us the most amazing banana bread and oatmeal dish for breakfast. Can't wait to go back."

"My husband and I loved our stay at Ravens Roost! Betsy and Ed were such great hosts. And they’re pet friendly!!! Betsy was so understanding about our dog. She bent the rules a little for us since our dog was technically over their weight restrictions. But she welcomed us and our dog and we had such a wonderful time staying with them. The location is only minutes from the Luray’s downtown and it was really easy to get to the Shenandoah Park Thornton Gap entrance. My husband and I were able to enjoy a long weekend celebrating our anniversary by doing the things we like, like hiking through Shenandoah with our dog, but also with all the modern comforts that you could want, like coming back to a warm shower and soak in a hot tub at the end of the day. They are also in between two wineries that were only 10 minutes away! We did not get to visit Luray Caverns, but the it’s only a short drive away. The cottage itself has a super comfortable king size bed, small sitting and dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has a jetted tub. The best part about this cottage is that Betsy makes you breakfast, but you don’t have to worry about waking up at a specific time in the morning. She brings you everything the night before and you can wake up and eat whenever you want! Breakfast consisted of a main dish that you would put in the oven (super easy, like turn the oven on, put it in and wait for the timer), a side dish such as fruit, a small loaf of sweet bread (pumpkin, cranberry), coffee and juice. She also asked about our dietary restrictions (which we have a lot of) and accommodated them. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. Betsy is also full of stories and super fun to talk to. But she also respects your space and privacy. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, and they are not part of Expedia/AirBnB/Homeaway or any of those other sites so you don’t have to worry about getting charged outrageous service or cleaning fees. Their price is their price. No surprises"

"Wonderful place to stay! Especially if you love animals! The cats, including Raven, were there every morning to share the love. The newest dog, Cricket, was a joy to be with. Playing ball with her was a highlight to my day!"

"We had a lovely stay at The Cottage at Raven's Roost. The quaint little cottage was warm and welcoming - set against a field of cows and horses, perfectly framed with picturesque misty mountains. Breakfast was delicious. The inn keepers were warm and friendly, but completely respectful of our privacy as well. A wonderful B&B. Highly recommended!"

"The cottage at ravens roost was absolutely amazing. Betsy and Ed were so wonderful, very accommodating. Betsy made this amazing blueberrry French toast creme brûlée for breakfast. It's such a cute cozy little cottage where you feel very at home, pet friendly which was awesome, fire pit, and a hot tub! I was visiting the area to hike but didn't want to leave the cottage. Would most defintaly recommend a visit. And will be going back."
