"Overall, I was not impressed by the services of this establishment and felt like they were just trying to make a buck off my situation. While the staff was overall friendly, I felt they were more focused on making money. We had just moved to the area and my cat was not adjusting well to his new home. He was panting heavily, shaking, and not eating as much as usual. I told the vet I thought it was anxiety related but wanted a professional opinion. "Because of COVID," I was not allowed into the establishment. The vets recommendation, before examining him but based on the information I provided including a video of him shaking, was to run a full blood panel and xray which would require sedation. Now worried that this was something super serious, I agreed to the work. $900 later, they said that the xrays turned up nothing and that the video I sent them was nothing to worry about, he was just stressed. They said the bloodwork would come in the following week and they would call with updates. They never called. I understand the rule "no news is good news" but after spending nearly $900 for all this work, I expected at least a follow-up. However, I do get weekly emails about his "prescription" which includes flea medicine (even though he's a completely indoor cat) and calming food."

"If only I could give The Cat Hospital of Fairfax 10 stars I would. I have a cat that has been sick and they have gone above and beyond. I have had to reach out to them with questions many times and they are always very responsive and caring. They call or email me back quickly. My cat used to see Dr. Ellison but since her retirement we now see Dr. Colahan."

"I love The Cat Hospital of Fairfax. Dr. Ellison is amazing and cares so, so much about her furry patients. We just took in a very sick little kitten, and they have done an excellent job treating him and getting him back to health. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!!"
