"They have been incredibly helpful in caring for our pet mouse. I recently received a call, well past closing hours, from Dr. Stewart about results that just came in and I was in stunned that he cared that much to update us that night. Wonderful veterinarian and wonderful nurses."

"Dr. Stewart has been the vet for my exotics since before he opened his own clinic- he stays current and I fully trust his opinions. Also much appreciated is the compassionate nature of the care he and his staff have given my companion critters. Definitely recommended."

"Absolutely amazing visit for my pet rats Jack and Ennis. Everyone was just awesome to talk to and made it a lot easier on me, a new pet owner, to understand what I need to do for medications for my babies. I really enjoyed talking with Dr. Stewart who was upfront about cost and the potential dangers. The technicians were also just incredible and the one gentleman who explained things to me when I first got there was so polite."

"I can't say enough about Dr. Stewart and his team. He has taken my bunnies on multiple occasions for same day emergencies even though they were very busy. Dr. Stewart helped me as I said goodbye to our sweet 7 year old bunny and did everything he could with her during her last few hours of life and even stayed with her during the night and kept me updated so I could come and say goodbye. It is so hard to find an exotic vet that truly cares and understands especially during emergencies. Donna ( I think is her name) is always so sweet and caring at the front desk. If you have a bunny or any other pet, I can't recommend Avian and Exotic clinic enough."

"We took our female Guinea multiple times leading up to her oophorectomy (ovaries removed). We have no complaints with any of the staff. They were very sweet and helping! They always answered our questions and helped us along the way. Our issue is Dr. Didn’t know our Guinea was pregnant when they performed a major surgery… she would’ve been a month pregnant! Her two week checkup (which is how we were told she was pregnant..) we then were told she needed emergency hysterectomy because these babies were not viable. We were questioned why she was pregnant. And even told that the Dr. Didn’t know how it was missed: her being pregnant pre-surgery and post-op..Even though the day her last litter was born we separated father from her! We understand they breed fast but we were not purposely making her breed again!! She would cry and whine if dad wasn’t in the cage with her. She was alone with her pups for three weeks until they were weaned. Day of emergency appointment Dr. Informed us they are actually ALIVE and fine, and that there are two heartbeats.. (Okay.. a suprise..but, as long as mom and babies are healthy it’s okay. )She had three pups today.. but two have passed away within 3 hours of being born. They were not healthy. Momma is stressed but otherwise okay.. we will definitely not be coming back after how the Dr. Handled the situation. We felt as though it was OUR fault she was pregnant again, even though she had babies while we were sleeping and couldn’t separate dad in time. We still aren’t sure how the pregnancy was missed pre-op. It was the equivalent of being in the early 2nd trimester for people.. we may be overreacting but our guineas are very important to us. Just because they are smaller and less common than cats or dogs doesn’t mean we can ignore when they’re sick or distressed. We wanted to review to let others know, especially if they are dealing with rescue guineas… (babies were alive in the photos..)"
