Leotards hold up very well and they have such a wide selection of styles. The custom fitting for shoes is so wonderful. My daughter loves all her shoes and they always fit perfectly. "We heard about Ellman's from my daughter's dance teacher. It was 100% worth the hour long drive from Fredericksburg! My daughter has wide feet, and it is not easy to find shoes in general, much less specialty shoes like ballet slippers that fit properly at general stores. Ellman's is huge, and as soon as we walked in, there was a very friendly employee asking if she could help. They measured and tried several pairs of slippers on my girl to ensure a proper fit. They will even start a file for each dancer if you wish (and I did) to chart growth and keep current sizes accessible, etc. My daughter could just not get over how big it was inside and just for dance stuff! It was very clean and well organized too. My gal wanted to look at everything & the employees were so kind! 10 out of 10 stars from us. We will be back!"

"The young lady that helped us with our ballet shoes was amazing and so patient! Now the cashier on the other hand, she needs to put a smile on her face and be a little friendlier! You are mostly helping young children. If you don’t like your job, I’m sure there are people out here that would love to be in your shoes. A smile goes a long way. I went in and had a great experience but left with a bad taste in my mouth due to the lack of friendliness of the cashier! Very disappointing!"
