"Walked in with my daughter and the associates were very welcoming, with the exception of the district manager. She asked what brought me in the store, and I responded in jest that I was too old to shop here and just visiting with my daughter. She responds, “You’re not too old”, which was nice. As I walked to the back of the store, she seemed to yell, “We don’t ALLOW self deprecating either”, in a condescending tone. That comment caught me off guard; the more I thought about her tone, the more bothered I became. I called the store and spoke with her; she offered the customer service number for complaints, but said it would loop back to her anyway. She offered a shallow apology. Not used to being scolded by store employees. Never again and I do mean never."
