"Me and the wife just moved to Hampton from San Diego and we've been missing mexican food hard. If Cali burritos and carne asada fries are your thing, then this is the spot. This place is serving better Mexican food than 99 percent of the Mexican food restaurants in SD. Also, the owners were super friendly people. They chatted with us while we waited our food and explained some of the history of their restaurant. 10/10 I'M DEFINITELY GOING AGAIN! Best salsa in VA as well! Truly authentic Cali Mexican food."

"We very much enjoyed our time here. The couple running the place were wonderful, the food was interesting and good, and the atmosphere is amazing. They were friendly to my kids as well, and the kids menu was palatable for the kids without just being the usual standards (for the unadventurous they do have chicken nuggets and fries). They put their life story on the walls, which feels like an invitation into someplace special. I am excited about their plans for the future. We will be back."
