"The food was delicious! Speakeasy vibe with lower "cellar" dining area. Tavern style seating. Ordered a caesar and house salad, both were wonderful. The croutons were incredible, baked fresh in-house. We split an order of crabcakes and the Faroe salmon, with side orders of cheesy grits, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. Maybe the best crabcakes we've ever had. All of it was amazing. DEFINITELY order the cognac bread pudding. I will certainly come back next visit to Lynchburg. Four stars because of our two drinks, The Orchid and the house Sangria, were both lacking. Probably would not order drinks here again. Ask for Eric. He was a wonderful server."

"This is our new favorite place. The Cajun crab dip and salmon were incredible. Best salmon I've had in forever. The house mashed potatoes were divine. Loved our service as well. 10/10!"
"It's a little pricey, but very much worth it. The food was great, fresh, cooked well and full of flavor. Very quiet and relaxing, even with my kids there. The desserts and crab dip was the best I've had in a while."
"We’ve been going to the Dahlia for about 10 years now. It was one of our all time favorites. However we will no longer go again. They have started charging their customers a 3.90 fee if you pay with a credit card. Also charge you a “meals Tax”, VA tax and a city tax! Yes this is true and please look at our receipt. All of those fees were an additional $11.45! Sorry Dahlia but we can go to many other good quality restaurants who don’t pass on these fees to their customers. On top of that, our fried oysters appetizer was over cooked and my husband’s poached Halibut was very bland and dry. Avoid this place. Paying those taxes is Dahlia’s responsibility. That’s part of running a business."
