"Produce/fruit is not very good. Blueberries and strawberries have mold on them. Hate going to another store for produce and vegetable.. but I'm not paying these high prices for food already gone bad"

"A complete failure at this Giant store. Customer service has gone down hill since we moved to this area 2 years ago. Most times the customer service is ok, but the quality of the food has decreased, so we shop mostly out of necessity at this store (there is a Wegmans nearby). Today we did a quick visit to get steaks .... There was no one in the butcher area.... Tried asking a cashier to call someone and she rudely dismissed me and walked away ,she did this in front of 2 other workers who didn't even realize her behavior, asked them for help and 1 offered to help, he walked me to the butcher area I mention the cashier's behavior and he said he would talk to her....then he said he couldn't help cutting the meat we wanted and that he was getting someone.... That someone showed up 5 minutes later and was rude, he didn't want to cut the meat we wanted and showed us the pre packed meat already cut, this meat didn't look fresh and we asked for the other to be cut, reluctantly he walked over to do it, then he grab a different piece of meet and told us the other was to small , he was rude and keep trying to tell us that what we wanted was not enough to get 5 pieces... It was big enough for 10. We walked away, This quick trip turned into a 45 minutes fiasco. Will keep going to Wegmans."

"Those two customer service ladies need to be fired or investigated for their unprofessionalism, I believe their names are Glenda and Astrid. I asked for some help, they were very standoffish and rude. And when I turn around as I’m about to exit the store (keep in mind I am Mexican but I pass off as white) they immediately insulted me and made fun of my appearance in Spanish. Never shopping at this location ever again."

"After thirty plus years, it’s time for a change. I can’t say I will never shop here again, but I’ll first seek out better options. And, if I do buy from Giant again, it will be fewer items. #1 - Prices are far above the competition. #2 - Employees seem to be experiencing job satisfaction or moral issues. Some run hot and cold, some never speak. #3 - New staff is now being trained to help Giant get up to speed with services, but training a new cadre of employees in front of customers is a cringe worthy experience. They should clearly be trained in private and not on the floor until they can master the fundamental skills. Watching seasoned employees train them on the most basic skills that include how to load groceries in a bag is ridiculous. It’s not good for customers and not good for new employees who seem timid and uncomfortable in this kind of training environment. #4 - Self check out is a disaster! Not enough bagging room to avoid listening to software bark nonstop, plus employees working the area seem frustrated and irritated to help people. I suspect we don’t listen to instructions or simply stealing. The entire experience is one that is obviously terrible for both parties. Get up to staff and eliminate this option because it basically does not work."

"They have the fresh boneless lamb leg and the price isn’t bad. I also like their baby Swiss cheese and Semi Soft part Skim cheese and Artisan bread which are always fresh."
