"Great experience shopping for a new pair of running shoes. The last few pairs of running shoes I’ve bought from the big box stores have given me blisters and clearly not been right for my feet. After 1 run in my new shoes I feel like I’ve finally found a pair that works. John was very friendly and knowledgeable; he was able to help determine the right type and size shoe I needed and then encouraged me to try on a variety of different options until I found the right pair. They also have a great return policy which gave me reassurance that I could exchange them for a different pair if they didn’t work out. Definitely check this place out if you need new shoes."

"You lost a loyal customer. I exclusively purchased running shoes through Bryn Mawr Running Company for years, but I just had a disappointing conversation with the "store manager" who insulted me and hung up. Never again! My Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 (2022) recently had a manufacturing defect surface which has rendered the shoes unusable. Nike referred me to their policy which is to initiate returns through the Authorized Reseller, this store. When I called in and explained the situation the manager was refusing to initiate the return process and claimed they only honor that policy for 30 days after the purchase. Nike's policy is within 2 years of the manufacturing date. When I pressed the manager for help, he gave me the runaround. Lots of irrelevant questions such as when I purchased the shoes, the condition of the shoes, and how many miles I put on the shoes. With each answer he remarked something that indicated reasons for not assisting - he had no desire to help. I pushed back by stating that I exclusively purchase through Bryn Mawr Running Company, but this experience is not good for a mutual BMRC and Nike customer and that I might consider purchasing direct from Nike. At that point he said something pretty insulting. I said that this experience was bad and that I was going to write a negative review and he hung up on me. Which leads me to this review. Maybe the manager didn't understand that I wasn't seeking a refund from Bryn Mawr Running Company. Maybe the manager isn't aware of Nike's policy and preferred process. Maybe he isn't the manager. Maybe it's something else. It's pretty simple. If you are unsure, tell me that. Contact Nike. Contact your distributor. Contact your corporate office, general manager, or owner. Express the situation and call me back when you're in a better mental state instead of starting an argument, insulting me, and hanging up. Never again!"
