"Love this shop! I moved from Philly to Bryn Mawr and was excited to have a trendy thrift store with parking 3 minutes from my house! The music and atmosphere are great and I find it relaxing to browse around every few weeks and see what’s new. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly and the items span basic $3 bin stuff to higher-end name brand…all priced very fairly. I found a dress for my bridal shower, practically brand new high top Vans sneakers, cozy sweaters for winter, dress pants and a top for a holiday party. I love the benefits of buying used for the environment, the thrill of the hunt, and getting a lot for a little. Hope this place sticks around for years to come! I’m a loyal customer and I tell everybody to check it out! Thanks Renaissance!"

"Great selection, staff very friendly. I’ve shopped here for years, even before it became the name that it has now, as a entrepreneur myself it felt good to see staff doing their jobs to the best of their ability. I’m not sure who the owner is but I’d love to meet with him /her one day. Your doing a great job !"

"Used to consign here a lot before it was renamed Renaissance and consigned a little when it became Renaissance. I have nice, designer clothing that I would love to consign but they changed their policy so that they won’t return any items that get “rejected”. This discourages people from consigning. I have nice things and I don’t want them to be donated or sold in a clearance bin by the store. I would like them back to sell elsewhere, or donate to whomever I choose. I don’t think this policy is good for business as it discourages people with nice pieces from bringing them in."

"This place is IT. A total gem of a thrift store. Excellent quality selection, intentional layout, perfect combo of well-selected vintage and new items in lots of size options. Everything from really cute jewelry to hats and gloves to boots and evening gowns and all the every day wear in between. Men's and women's selections but majoritively women's items from what I observed. Fitting rooms are comfortable and clean. They know the value of the items they have but the prices are more than fair. But here's the *best* part of my first experience here: I found the most amazing suede-like Anthropologie coat. In my excitement to discover it, I hadn't noticed it was missing a strap around one of the sleeves. "

"I went to this shop over a month ago for the first time. I found a pairs of boots which I liked and bought. I felt a little funny about buying second hand boots but they were very comfortable and stylish. I will be back and bring a friend with me who said she really liked my boots and she has never been to your shop. Sincerely Kim. ( a happy new customer)"
