"He does a good job, but very pricey- a reason for only four stars"

"I took my Gucci shoe to this place. For a new sole on my shoes he did it OK job on the soles of the shoe. However, he scratched my leather at the toe, and gapping between a soul and Shoe, where the glue didn’t sit right, a messy job he also made some kind of makeshift rubber on the side wall of the sneaker that looks terrible. complained about it and he said that it was there when I bought that shoe in which is not true because I have a before and after picture that I showed him he would not take responsibility so I called the police and the police told me to take my complaint to civil court, which I’m on my way to do that now, also, I’m filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau…. meanwhile I’ll be doing my business to Rossi’s Shoe Repair they are a lot more professional. The owner of Bryn Mawr’s shoe service name is Christopher he was a very rude and arrogant man. If you care about your high end, items, don’t take it to Bryn Mawr Shoe service."

"I needed a quick repair to replace the heels on black pumps I needed to wear the following day. The gentleman behind the desk did the repair right away and they look as good as new."

"I took a YSL purse here for repair of a ripped interior pocket . YSL told me it would take 20+ weeks for repair & have to be sent to Europe even for a quote. Took it to Bryn Mawr shoe repair & the owner did an amazing job for a reasonable price, ready in 1 week. Also cleaned it and looks good as new. Thanks so much!"

"I needed to have the tips of my limited edition Casadei heels replaced. They are white Italian leather and this cobbler replaced the heel with a black tip that was much larger then the stem of the heel. This new tip ruined the line of the shoe and the elegance of the all white heel with this bulky black eye sore. The cobbler is unreachable via the phone number on google with no answering machine. They wouldn’t accept any form of card payment so I had to pick up cash before hand. Poorly executed on all fronts."
