"I've never had a "go to" clothing store. 50 years I've just wondered from store to store. Finding random stuff to wear. Saw a pair of shoes on display. Walked in for the shoes, walked out with two pairs of shoes, two pairs of slacks and a shirt. Seriously, the most comfortable shoes and slacks I own. I have to say, I look good. Told my wife, if she wants to get clothes, anything at Johnston & Murphy will work."

"I bought some shoes that I really loved the look of but then they ended up staining very easily due to my lifestyle (young kids and cats at home). I decided they weren’t a good match for my needs, and I was really disappointed because I had saved up for them. I called and spoke to the manager, who allowed me to bring them in (stained with oil/butter already) and swap them for a different style. They could have easily just refused the return, but they made it right. In so doing, the prioritized a long-term customer relationship over one single sale. I’ll keep coming back! I love almost every product in the store!"
