"I don't understand the hate for the bad service. I was stopping by this place as a pit stop. Craved some Peruvian food and tried this for the first time. Customer was great. Quick and easy. The real tragedy here is them calling it Peruvian chicken. Chicken with barely any seasonings. Sauces tastes like buttermilk ranch. Spicy not being spicy. This is some adultered American version. I'd rather go to Don Pollo, El Pollo Rico, King Pollo, or anywhere else owned by a Peruvian dad. VERDE Sauce is supposed to be just blended Jalapenos. Nothing else. Why is it so ranchy?! Where's the Cumin in my chicken! Where's the Amarillo in the Amarillo sauce! Where's the deep fried pescado? Where's chaufa? I got served bland chinese chicken rice."
"I've only eaten here twice, but I will return many times because the food is absolutely delicious here. Everything is fresh and hot. The chicken is absolutely mouth-watering. I'd highly recommend visiting and having a meal at this restaurant or one of their sister locations."
"Food is great and reasonable for the price. BUT service from some of the staff is horrible! I ordered online and walked in to pick up my order. Nobody acknowledge my presence and there was only one other customer inside already being helped by a staffer. Neither of the two individuals not servicing the customer asked me anything. However when someone of a lighter skin color came in after me, the person was asked if he was picking up. After that person left, I waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me but no one did. So I had to speak up and ask if my order was ready. Not cool!!"
"Ordered half chicken dark with fried yucca and Brussel sprouts, and shrimp skewers with green beans, and black beans and rice. Chicken was succulent and shrimp skewers were ample (ten shrimp). Both were outstanding. Sides also were excellent. I ordered the spicy green salsa with the chicken but this salsa is slightly piquant and has reasonable and not overwhelming heat … really good. I have ordered take out from this restaurant several times and quality and value has been uniformly outstanding. I will be back for more!"
