"Hannaford meat department in Lathem, NY sold packages of meat that were incorrectly labels. 3 packages, first one labeled 3.65lbs. Our kitchen scale measured 3.11lbs. Second labeled 2.85lbs but actually weighted 2.14lbs. Third one labeled 2.735lbs but actually weighted 2.12lbs. The weight we measured is with product still in original package. We measured our kitchen scale with multiple items here with known weights to ensure it is accuate and it is accurate. Hannaford customer service did call back and said that it couldn't have possibly happened as they calibrate their scales. We think what is happening is the meat packing person just slap on labels on packages that may not correspond with the actual package. Stuff happens but the attitude of the customer service person being dismissive is unacceptable. There is obviously something wrong with their process. I don't doubt they calibrate their scales but the labeling process could be off. There are other choices in the area. Shop there."
"I go here 2-3times a week Usually we'll stocked I recommend you don't go on weekends unless you like crowds My only suggestion would be to have self check out be for no more than 10 items"
"Different food gourmet you can't get anywhere else so clean and maintained excellent customer service and selection in every way bakery produce meat are above and beyond most stores the prepared food selection is amazing just fantastic fabulous place"
