Seabonay Oceanfront Motel

"Definitely had a nice day. I was traveling with my two daughters 13 in two years old who wanted to spend the weekend on the beach for our last summer vacation which was accomplished I did had a problem with our first room which was poolside and AC was leaking. I then told the front desk and they address the situation immediately and changed my room to ocean view, at the same rate, the rooms were clean and well-kept. I have no complaints. I will be staying again with a Seabonay. The hospitality was reasonable and the staff are very friendly. My daughters had an amazing time in their pool and beachfront. No complaints from this gas it’s not the Taj Mahal but it’s definitely doable for the price."

"After reading all the reviews I was a little worried about the room. This was a last minute booking on a busy OC weekend. The rates were great. Check in was fast and very pleasant. The room is clean, cold AC, but no microwave which is not an issue for me. It's a little damp but most oceanfront older hotels are. There a strong odor of cleaning supplies but at least it's clean! I've stayed in MUCH worse places. The pool is awesome and very clean everyone I have come in contact with has been super nice. For the rate I paid I'd say it's absolutely worth it!"

"This Motel is in a perfection location. That is all it has going for it. Given the price of these rooms, it should be fully upgraded. It's not! The room was good sized. The beds were clean and comfortable. The service was great. However, they need to seriously upgrade the whole motel. The outside needs painting. The bathroom door in our room was literally falling apart. It was all mildew and disintegrating. The outdoor area is a nice concept, however, it is in need of some care. I will not stay here again."

"The worse customer service front desk attendant experience I have every had in my entire history of travel. The front desk attendant who greeted me was so rude, very rude. She was all about how I was inconveniencing her because of my check-in questions. The interaction occurred at around 9:30am on Friday 7/28/2023. The front desk attendant was very aggressive in her handling of my question. She used terms like, "I don't even know why I am dealing with this", and "I have been here 15 years and I am tired of answering these questions". The experience was all about her and her feelings, instead of helping me check in and answer my questions. The worse part about all this is that when I would go down to get something from the lobby, like coffee, I could sense her stare and the tense environment. I should not have had to go through this as a customer. "Hospitality" definitely was not part of my experience. Management needs to make a change immediately. I talked to the Dunes Manager "Zach". I don't think he is going to address this, as I think they are afraid of that front desk attendant. I have stayed here successive years as it was a go to motel for me and my family. Rented two rooms at same time. I WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN!"
