"This review is for the poor communication (or lack there of) with Frank. I’ve called numerous times, left multiple voicemails, and have not received any form of communication back. I was lucky to get through to him once but as I was speaking the line ‘disconnected’ and after calling back right away and multiple times after, I was left leaving yet another voicemail. Don’t expect any sort of communication or resolution if something happens with your order, even if the error was on THEIR END. Take your business elsewhere for European oak because although it’s pretty, it’s not worth the headache they have caused."

"Our experience with Woodworks has been mixed, leaning to below average and ultimately not recommending them. If you are looking at this review, then you most likely have seen Woodworks (Ted Todd) portfolio and are amazed by it. We have the product, it is a great quality product, but that is not the issue here. Our issue is not with the quality, but with the experience and end product NOT being what we ordered or PAID for. We decided to have Woodworks as our main entry point for the wow factor, but the rest of the house (majority of house) we were going to have a more inexpensive (still expensive, but less than woodworks, engineer hardwood) that was 1/2” thick. The item from Woodworks that we wanted was 3/4” thick, so we discussed with Woodworks team if they could make the product 1/2” thick, which they confirmed they could. We confirmed via email and over phone MULTIPLE times that our product would be 1/2” thick. The 1/2” product, even though less material, cost more than 3/4” and they needed a full deposit, which we sent. They sent us paperwork in mm, which we didnt catch, as we confirmed size multiple times via email and phone. However, we should have, as the mm sent converted to 3/4” but still had the HIGHER PRICE of 1/2” that we agreed upon. We had to buy direct from UK, not USA, which was fine at that point. When we got the product in, we noticed it is 3/4”. Which is not what we paid for or agreed upon via email and phone. We are in the middle of home project on a timeline. We wanted to return or ask for recommendation on how to fix this, as this will now increase cost to us, as the Woodworks material is not the same size as our other material. Their response was basically to install T mold transition piece. We were shocked and felt insulted that this was their only resolution. We paid MORE for a high quality product with a specific size to avoid having that type of transition, and they didn’t acknowledge their fault at sending us the incorrect size agreed upon, or offer any reasonable resolution. We looked into seeking reimbursement in other forms, but good luck as they have no U.S.A. facility. They are only in UK from what we have seen, or under a different name in the USA. The cost to actually get anything back from them in other forms would not work. I attached a picture of difference in wood heights for reference (the Chevron is Woodworks and the other product is another engineered hardwood supplier that we were using for the rest of the house). I wanted to post a good review for them on Google but find myself not doing so. You can see my history of reviews and know this isn’t me trying to get something. I wish I saw this review before I bought from them. End of day, they make quality, but realize you are on your own and they won’t do anything for you once you receive shipment besides act like they know more. For reference, you need a wood specialist to install this type of chevron wood, which we have, as install can be intricate."
