"i’m editing my review from four years ago. it was a one star based on the fact they prioritized higher end customers. my review now is amazing. they’re attentive, caring, and always give the best advice. they’re great to talk to and they don’t push products if you’re unsure. i can ask them how something looks on me & they’re completely honest. i love the staff but the selections for clothes make me sad. idk if it’s the size of the store or maybe the location but online & bay plaza has about 2-3x more stuff."

"I’ve been pretty over torrid for a while because of the style and quality and price changes coming from up high, but as a plus size gal needs must and I find myself back again. This was my first time in this Torrid and the staff was so friendly and helpful, really went above and beyond to help make the experience great for us. Torrid corporate you need to get it together, but Yonkers Torrid is killing it with customer service. Thank guys!"

"Used to be affordable but not anymore. Sale prices are not much of a savings anymore"

"I came to this Torrid, looking to be fitted for a bra. When I first walked in the staff was talking amongst themselves and did not acknowledge me at all. I happen to ask one of the girls on the floor if she could assist with measuring me being that I was looking to get a bra that would fit perfectly. She then told me to head to the register and someone would help. At first, I didn’t think think anything of our interaction. That was until she walked to the front behind me and ask the girl who was on register to measure me because she didn’t want to do it at laughing then making a face of disgust. One of the other staff members chimed in and ask don’t want to do what loudly. She try to whisper “measure.. I don’t feel like doing it”. The girl on the register said out loud to her she was going to measure someone before the day was over with an annoyed tone. The girl who didn’t want to measure then looked at me and told her shhh. The entire exchange made me very uncomfortable, which made me leave the store. I already feel uncomfortable with my body and very insecure being a plus size woman. But the comment didn’t have to be made loudly right in front of me. I will never return to this location. You would think that people will be a bit more empathetic or sympathetic to people in the plus size community. We have very little to no places to shop and with this happening just made it harder for me to feel comfortable not only in my own skin but my own community. The fact that no one wanted to help at all was disgusting behavior."
